All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

University of Texas recruit Jordan Barnett scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead Christian Brothers College Preparatory to a 74-66 win over Jackson in boys basketball Tuesday night in the suburban St. Louis area.

CBC led 32-29 at halftime, took a 52-43 lead into the fourth quarter and held the Indians off down the stretch with help from the 6-foot-8 Barnett.

Jackson junior Blake Reynolds scored 15 of his team-high 22 points in the second half. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. Braden Wendel added 12 points and Josh Daume had 11.

Jackson lost its second consecutive game and fell to 19-5.

Jordan Barnes added 15 points for CBC (18-7).

LaRandis Banks netted a game-high 27 points as the Braves notched their 20th win of the season in a conference road game.
