Austin Hicks went 2 for 3 with three RBIs to lead the Bell City baseball team to a 6-3 victory over Bloomfield on Wednesday at home.
Cole Nichols finished 3 for 4 for the Cubs (2-0), while Jesse Smith added a double. Hicks picked up the win on the mound.
Noah Vandiver was 2 for 3 to lead the way for Bloomfield (0-2).

Crusaders goalkeeper Raegan Wieser finished with one save in the net.
Kelly dropped to 1-3 on the season.
The Dragons finished 11 strokes ahead of the Pirates to take first-place team honors in a three-team match at the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club.
Matt Turek carded a 44 to earn medalist honors.
