Meadow Heights freshman Lane Baremore surrendered two first inning runs to Chaffee but followed with six shutout innings as the Panthers rallied for a 3-2 victory Friday night in the Chaffee Round Robin Tournament.
Baremore struck out nine, walked one and allowed four hits over seven innings. He also had two hits at the plate, as did teammte Brendan Welker.
Austin Copeland had two of Chaffee's hits, while Ryan Lohmann had a triple.
Jake Perkins took the loss for Chaffee. He struck out six, walked one and gave up seven hits over seven innings.

Jonathon Tyler threw a one-hitter as the Hawks blanked the host Royals.
Tyler struck out six and walked five in throwing all seven innings.

Greenville scored two runs in the fourth inning and shutout the Hawks behind the two-hit pitching of sophomore Trey McDaniel.
McDaniel allowed just two hits and struck out 13 batters and walked none over 6 1/3 innings.
Levi Alsup took the loss for Kelly. He allowed four hits over six innings, striking out 10 and walking two.
Trynton Tompkins had two hits for Greenville.

The Hornets tied the game with three runs in the ninth inning but spoiled a chance at a walk-off win in a loss to the Bluejays.
Advance had two runners tag up on a sacrifice fly. However, the runner from third was tagged up at home while the runner at second was called out for not tagging up.
Charleston went on to score six runs in the 10th to secure the win.
Dawson Mayo gave up six runs on five hits and struck out three. Mayo and CJ Seger both dowubled in the loss.

Despite a one-goal lead at halftime, St. Vincent fell to Pacific in the third-place game of the Windsor Tournament in Imperial, Missouri.
Hannah Lukefahar scored two goals to lead St. Vincent (5-5), while Sarah Geile and Lauren Carron each had an assist.
Notre Dame swept doubles play and won all but won singles match in a home match.
The Bulldogs improved to 3-2.
