PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Stacy Baer provided some late-game heroics in leading Perryville to a dramatic 52-50 win over North County Tuesday night in the semifinals of the Perryville Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Lady Pirates will play Notre Dame for the championship at 7:30 tonight after the Lady Bulldogs destroyed Chester 65-33.
Baer scored five of her 11 points in the final two minutes, including the game-winner with four seconds left.
"She drove the left side of the lane, went around three taller girls and shot almost a hook shot," said Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann. "It was unbelievable."
With 1:48 left in the game, Baer nailed a 3-pointer to tie the game at 50. Perryville forced a turnover, then stalled the last 1:38 until Baer's game-winner. Baer also had five assists and four steals.

Perryville led 28-26 at halftime.
In the other game, Notre Dame (2-0) used some sticky defense and eight 3-pointers by the Millham sisters in knocking off Chester.
Lisa Millham, who nailed five threes, led the way with 17, while Ashley Millham hit three threes and scored 10 points.
The Lady Bulldogs got nine points, 13 rebounds, three blocks and four steals from Deana McCormick.
Notre Dame swiped 18 steals on the night, five by Lisa Millham and four by Ashley Millham.
"Once we started playing well, they couldn't handle the press well," said Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim. "Once we quit fouling them and started running our offense, we did all right."
Notre Dame led 31-15 at halftime, but Chester managed just one field goal in the first 16 minutes.
