SCOTT CITY — After a pair of home losses, Malden returns to the road for a date with Scott City.

The Rams are also licking the wounds of defeat after suffering a 56-32 loss to Portageville.

Scott City has plenty of talented skill position players for the Green Wave to worry about.

Tyson Underwood has rushed for 400 yards and six TD. Quarterback Mark Panagos has completed nearly 53 percent of his passes for 884 yards and eight TD. Three receivers have totaled at least 193 yards in catches.

Defensively, Lawson Graff leads the team with 37 tackles and one quarterback sack.

Green Wave quarterback Quamareous Farmer finished with 150 all-purpose yards last week. Quentin Kilgore and Amerious White continue to shine at wide receiver.

Defensively, Stevajay Jackson has been the team’s most consistent performer and leading tackler.

Malden continues searching for its first win since the 2021 season.

Who: Malden at Scott City

What’s At Stake: The Green Wave continue making progress under first-year head coach Shane Kearbey, but will they keep up versus a very good Scott City team.

When: 7 p.m. Friday

Where: William Wilthong Stadium, Scott City

Admission prices: $4 for adults and $2 for students. Veterans and senior citizens ages 65 and older are admitted free, per the Scott City athletic department.

Last time out: Scott City piled up 62 points in a 42-point thrashing of Malden during the 2022 season.
