SCOTT CITY — Scott City rolled to a 62-point lead by intermission, which eventually brought out the “turbo clock” for the second half at William Wilthong Stadium Friday.

Malden had trouble with Tyson Underwood, who finished the game with five TD as reported by Southeast Missourian sports editor Tony Capobianco.

Mark Panagos added two more scores, including one on an interception return. Lawson Graff also tallied a defensive TD on a scoop and score.

Malden’s only score came on a pass connection between quarterback Quamareous Farmer and Amerious White. Farmer passed for 183 yards and added a two-point conversion pass to Antoine Owens.

Defensively, it was a rough night for the winless Green Wave. Devin Lewis and Stevajay Jackson both contributed 6.5 tackle points. What’s more, Malden couldn’t force any turnovers, which didn't help matters any.

It’s Malden’s turn to play East Prairie this Friday, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m., at “The Swamp.”
