MALDEN — Two teams coming off losses of different scopes meet Friday as East Prairie squares off with Malden.

Malden suffered a 62-8 loss to Scott City while East Prairie had victory in its grasp before ultimately falling to Kennett on the Indians’ Homecoming.

Stevajay Jackson continues to be Malden’s most consistent defensive player, while Amerious White has become the go-to receiver for Quamareous Farmer.

Who: East Prairie at Malden

What’s At Stake: How will the Green Wave bounce back from last week’s 54-point loss to Scott City? That’s the big question.

When: 7 p.m. Friday

Where: “The Swamp,” Malden

Admission prices: $3 for adults and $2 for students. Also, Sterling Bank will have an extravaganza tailgate before the game.

Last time out: East Prairie earned a 30-26 victory over Malden on Sept. 30, 2022, at home.
