Malden High School defender Marcus Burton and Chaffee quarterback Carson Spies tumble near the Green Wave goal line at “The Swamp” Friday, Sept. 15.

Chaffee defeated 28-14, which marked the Green Wave’s 17th straight loss dating back to the 2021 season.

The Red Devils raced out to a 21-0 lead with three minutes left in the third quarter.
