Heins claims first in Spring Classic

Southeast Missouri State cross country coach Eric Heins cruised to first place Saturday in the Spring Classic 5-kilometer run.

Hines posted a winning time of 15 minutes, 49 seconds. Brian Whitehead was second across the line in 17:42 with Jared Tanz third in 18:00.

Kaci Pilcher won the women's division in 20:46.
