CRYSTAL CITY -- After beating Crystal City 16-6 earlier this year, St. Vincent dropped to 2-10 on the season.

Crystal City lost despite out-hitting Crystal City 14-4.

"How you do that, I have no idea," said St. Vincent coach John Lambert. "Our girls got off the bus flat and they weren't prepared. Some of it was bad base running, but we play an aggressive brand, so I'll take some of the blame on that."

Crystal City scored six runs on just two hits in the first inning, then scored one in the fourth and four in the fifth.

St. Vincent scored two runs in the third and fifth innings.

Amanda Richardet went 3-for-3, Kindle Enrst went 3-for-4, Stephanie Brown went 2-for-3 Caitlin Hoeh went 2-for-2 and Monica Weith went 2-for-4 for St. Vincent.
