Perryville junior Emily Hanquist set a school record with 12 steals Tuesday to lead the Pirates to the consolation title at the North County girls basketball tournament.
Hanquist led Perryville with 16 points and eight rebounds in the Pirates' 57-36 victory over West County.

The Crusaders downed Metro St. Louis 58-47 for the title.
Bryant Steffens hit for 18 points while Bret Steffens finished with 16 points and eight rebounds in the win.
In the third-place game, St. Vincent (4-2) got 12 points and five rebounds from Kyle Rollet in its 54-41 win over Valle.
Eagle Ridge edged New Salem 55-48 to capture fifth place.
