Hale defeats Neader to win men's open division

Cape Girardeau's Rob Hale defeated Jackson's Darren Neader, 6-2, 6-0, to win the men's open singles division at the St. Patrick's Day indoor tennis tournament.

In the women's open singles exhibition, Cape Girardeau's Kristi Lazarova beat Sikeston's Penny Hunter, 6-0, 6-2.

Ken Campbell and Jerry Kinnaman of Cape Girardeau defeated Cape Girardeau's Lonnie Mobley and Shawn McNally, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, to win the men's open doubles division.

In the open mixed doubles division, Cape Girardeau's Mike and Jan Keefe knocked off Cape Girardeau's Linda Ruddy and Jackson's Ish Patel, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4.
