GUARDIAN ANGEL WINS TITLE IN NEW HAMBURG HOOP TOURNEY

Guardian Angel of Oran and St. Augustine of Kelso finished first in their respective divisions of the recent New Hamburg Girls Basketball Tournament.

Guardian Angel capture the `A' team division, followed by Kelso C-7 of New Hamburg, St. Ambrose of Chaffee and St. Augustine of Kelso.

St. Augustine prevailed in the `B' team division, followed by St. Ambrose of Chaffee, Kelso C-7 of New Hamburg and Guardian Angel of Oran.

The `A' team all-tournament squad consisted of Maria Eftink and Tracy Kluesner of Guardian Angel; Dana Essner and Jenny Pinkston of Kelso C-7; Theresa Diebold of St. Augustine; and Jennifer Vandeven of St. Ambrose.

Making the `B' team all-tourney squad were Rachel Wright and Audrey Heisserer of St. Augustine; Jessica Davis and Mallory Kiefer of St. Ambrose; and Liz Scherer of Kelso C-7.
