Central's Dani Gross won the long jump and the triple jump Saturday to earn top female in field events at the Cape Relays.
Central's Allen Walker won the boys track honor by capturing the 100-meter dash and being a part of the Tigers' winning 400 and 800 relay teams. The 400 unit, which also included Anwar Glenn, Tyler Terry and Hykeem Hammonds, set a school record of 43.27 seconds.
Notre Dame's Katie Daniel was the girls track athlete of the meet, winning the 100- and 300-meter hurdles for the Bulldogs' only wins on the day in the girls meet.
The 10-team meet did not score for teams and had some unusual events -- sprint and distance medley relays.
For Notre Dame, Matt Pfau and Max Poppen were part of two first-place finishes. Pfau won the 1,600 and ran in the 1,600 relay, while Poppen won the 300 hurldes and helped the sprint medley team. Notre Dame's Bryce Willen won the pole vault.
Jackson won the boys throws, as Andy Glass won the shot put and Billy Uren won the discus.
Jackson's Rachel Schmidt won the girls 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs, and Amy West won the pole vault.
Nicole Jackson won the 100 meters for the Central girls and was part of the winning 400-meter relay team. The Central girls also dominated the 1,600, 3,200 and distance medley relays.
