Granada wins $1 million prize at ADT tourney

Two days after turning 20, LPGA Tour rookie Julieta Granada got her first victory, taking home the first $1 million prize in women's golf. Granada shot a bogey-free round of 68 Sunday, topping an eight-player final-round field to win the ADT Championship at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Fla., and claim most of the $1.55 million purse.

The win pushed her season's earnings to $1,633,586 -- not bad for someone who finished outside the top-10 finishers in 23 of 30 events this year.

Player of the year Lorena Ochoa (70) was second, earning $100,000.

Dunlop Phoenix

Ireland's Padraig Harrington made a dramatic late comeback to catch Tiger Woods, then beat the world's No. 1 player on the second playoff hole Sunday to win the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Miyazaki, Japan.

Woods held a three-shot lead with six holes left, but he dropped into a tie with Harrington at the Phoenix Country Club after a three-putt bogey at the 16th hole, and both players birdied the last to shoot 67 and finish at 9-under-par 271.

The playoff started at the par-5 18th, where Woods and Harrington made birdie putts,

They returned to 18, and this time Harrington prevailed, somewhat luckily, after his second shot hit a tree and kicked forward into a perfect lie in the rough, allowing him to hit his third shot to inside 2 feet.
