ORAN -- Frances Kay Pobst, 49, of Oran died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 8, 1945, to Philip and Leota Foster Rievley in Rombauer. She married Marvin Pobst on April 22, 1972. He survives. In addition to her husband, Pobst is survived by a son, Greg Pobst of Oran; a daughter, Marla Kay Pobst of Oran; a brother, Don Rievley of Chaffee; two sisters, Mary Martin of Illipolis, Ill.; Roberta Grojean of Chaffee and her mother, Leota Rievley of Chaffee.. ...

She was preceded in death by her father, a half brother and a half sister.

Pobst was a retired data processing manager for Wetterau Inc.

Friends may call the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran today after 5 p.m. Parish prayers will be conducted at 7 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral service will be at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran Monday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Frederick Lutz officiating. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
