CAMPBELL — Young runners were the tops at the Peach Fuzz 5K, which was conducted this past Saturday.

Skies were cloudy, with runners completing the course before thunderstorms and heavy rain struck Dunklin County.

Rhett Foster, an 11-year-old from Campbell, placed first in a time of 21:32.

Clarkton resident Maurice Jones, 12, was second in a time of 22:52. Sawyer Powers

of Campbell took third (24:17).

There were 35 entrants, which benefited St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The Campbell High School FBLA program provided water to participants during their run.
