Awards and accolades continue rolling in for several area high school basketball standouts.

Three boys and two girls from the Southeast Missourian coverage area were named first team All-State by a statewide panel of Missouri sportswriters and broadcasters.

Oran's Alex Heuring in Class 2, and Scott County Central's Larandis Banks and Leopold's Kyle Stroder in Class 1, all earned boys first-team honors. For the girls, Mikaela Blissett of Scott County Central and Michela VanGennip of Delta were named to the first team in Class 1.
