The Cavaliers are headed to Miami and New York without guard Ricky Davis. Davis was suspended for two games by Cleveland coach John Lucas for "disciplinary reasons" following Friday night's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sacramento Kings dressed the NBA-minimum eight players for Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after nagging injuries forced Peja Stojakovic and Hedo Turkoglu to sit out. Stojakovic, an All-Star last season, missed his fourth straight game with inflamed tissue in his right heel that prevents him from running at full speed. He is averaging 16.6 points and five rebounds per game.

Clippers forward Corey Maggette underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to be sidelined up to six weeks.

Steve McNair sat out most of the Tennessee Titans' practice with a rib injury, and coach Jeff Fisher said his status for Sunday's game against the New York Giants would be a game-time decision.

(Car) key turnover ends a big drive
OK, so college football fans are turning into hooligans. At least car-jackers are getting nicer.
Tim Carter, a rookie receiver for the New York Giants, lost his BMW M3, credit and ATM cards, $10,000 in jewelry -- and his crutches -- after car-jackers took him on a 31/2-hour ride around New Jersey on Sunday night, Newsday reported. The car-jackers, who ran red lights at high speed to elude police when Carter was in the back seat, accosted him at gunpoint to start the episode.
"Because I was on crutches, I really couldn't do anything," said Carter, who is out for the season with a leg injury, in a statement released by the Giants.
But these thieves had some heart. When they finally let Carter go, he asked for $40 for cab money -- and they gave it to him. The thieves are still at large.
"We both knew our goals," Carter said. "I wanted to get home unharmed. They wanted the car.
"For them, it's just business."
