I THINK it's wonderful that at least one St. Louis Rams player is suing the New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, and coach, Bill Belichick, for cheating before the Rams' Super Bowl loss to the Patriots. If the league isn't going to enforce the rules, then the courts should step up and get the job done. Players get bonuses for winning things like the Super Bowl, the Stanley Cup and the World Series. The Patriots were praised and held up as an example all season, and the league was more concerned with milking that for all it was worth than dealing with the cheating. It sounds like the NFL is getting more like Major League Baseball every day, and look where it's gotten MLB. If I was a resident of a state where gambling was legal and lost money on the Rams in that game, I'd be thinking of suing, too.
