CARLEE VANCIL from Twin Rivers faced 403 batters in 15 games and struck out 231 of them. She had an ERA of 0.20 and only gave up 25 hits. She hit three home runs, with two of them being over the fence. She can outpitch any of the girls you chose. Halee Deckard from Naylor is one of the best softball players in the state, offensively and defensively. I guess these girls don't mean anything because they are from the lower part of the state. In comparison, the stats of the players you chose aren't even close to some of the girls down south. Don't know why you even asked for input if you already had your mind made up.

(The all-Southeast Missourian softball team roster was limited to players in the Missourian's 21-high school coverage area. Neither Twin Rivers nor Naylor are within our coverage area.)

CAN ANYONE tell me what the criteria is for choosing the all-Southeast Missourian softball team? If it is based solely on individual regular-season statistics, then why wasn't anyone chosen from a school that plays spring softball? You have very talented players that play for schools that only offer spring ball, and I feel these players are being overlooked. Is it the fault of these players that these smaller schools can only offer spring ball? I think these spring ball players stats should be looked at as well.
