MONTREAL -- Brad Wilkerson hit a foul ball that broke a glass pane behind home plate, then hit a tiebreaking single in the seventh inning as the Montreal Expos overcame Barry Bonds' 579th career homer and beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2 Sunday.
Vladimir Guerrero homered off Russ Ortiz (3-2) as Montreal's Frank Robinson recorded his 700th victory as a major league manager.
"Wow! I had no idea, but good for him," said Expos third baseman Chris Truby, who contributed two key hits. "He's led this ballclub in a way that a lot of people didn't expect so he's done more than his share right here. Hopefully he gets 780 this season, or whatever it takes to get to the postseason."
Robinson, who saw Bonds draw to within seven homers of his career total, joked about the significance of reaching the milestone.
"It means I've been around a long time," Robinson said. "It's special. It's nice to be around and get 700 wins, but the main thing is it was a big win for the ballclub."
Bonds hit his 12th homer of the season and 579th of his career. Robinson ranks fourth on baseball's all-time list with 586 and Mark McGwire is fifth with 583.
The game was delayed for eight minutes in the second inning after Wilkerson's foul shattered the glass.
"I've never seen anything like that," Truby said. "I felt bad for Wilky because he's up there battling with a 3-2 count and then you've got a five-minute break without seeing a pitch."
Tony Armas Jr. (5-3) allowed two runs in seven innings. Matt Herges got his sixth save.
Marlins 11, Dodgers 3
MIAMI -- Florida beat Hideo Nomo for the 10th consecutive time, with backup catcher Mike Redmond homering and scoring a career-high four runs.
The Marlins concluded a 5-1 homestand that vaulted them into first place in the NL East. But on a sunny, 85-degree afternoon there was no sign of pennant fever -- the game drew only 7,930 fans.
Nomo (2-5) gave up seven runs, six earned, in 4 2-3 innings and fell to 2-10 against the Marlins.
Ryan Dempster (2-3) allowed nine hits in his second complete game of the season, and he hit his first career triple to drive in a run.
Padres 6, Braves 5
ATLANTA -- Deivi Cruz singled home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, helping San Diego snap a five-game losing streak.
The Padres avoided an 0-6 road trip, which would have tied a franchise record. Jason Boyd (1-0) pitched 1 2-3 scoreless innings for his first career victory.
Trevor Hoffman held on in the ninth for his 12th save. He gave up Gary Sheffield's RBI single with two outs before striking out Andruw Jones with two runners on to end it.
Tom Glavine (5-2) allowed five runs -- four earned -- in six-plus innings.
Rockies 4, Mets 3
NEW YORK -- Larry Walker hit a two-run homer in the 13th inning and Colorado beat New York.
Juan Uribe drew a four-pitch walk from Kane Davis (1-1) to start the 13th. Walker followed with his eighth homer, a drive into the Mets bullpen in right field.
Former Mets pitcher Rick White (1-4) was the winner. Jose Jimenez pitched the 13th for his ninth save, giving up an RBI groundout to Mo Vaughn.
Phillies 3, Diamondbacks 1
PHILADELPHIA -- Travis Lee went 4-for-4 with a homer against his former team and Terry Adams (1-3) pitched six strong innings to pick up his first victory for Philadelphia.
After starting the season 5-8 at Veterans Stadium, the Phillies went 8-1 on the nine-game homestand.
Lee, obtained by the Phillies along with Vicente Padilla, Omar Daal and Nelson Figueroa for Curt Schilling in 2000, is 13-for-40 lifetime against Arizona, with three home runs and six RBIs.
Jose Mesa worked the ninth for his 12th save.
Miguel Batista (2-2) took the loss.
Astros 5, Pirates 1
PITTSBURGH -- Shane Reynolds (3-3) shrugged off an 86-minute rain delay and Houston's five-give losing streak to limit Pittsburgh to two hits over six innings.
Jeff Bagwell hit his fifth homer in nine games to give the Astros a 2-0 lead, and Pirates reliever Mike Fetters' throwing error scored two more runs as Houston dodged a second straight three-game sweep. They began their weeklong road trip by dropping three in a row at Philadelphia.
Dave Williams (2-4) took the loss.
Brewers 13, Cubs 4
CHICAGO -- Raul Casanova and Richie Sexson hit grand slams in consecutive innings as Milwaukee routed Chicago, handing Jon Lieber (3-2) his first loss at Wrigley Field in almost a year.
The Brewers swept the Cubs in the rain-shortened three-game set after winning only two of their first 18 road games. Chicago lost its fourth in a row.
The game started after a rain delay of 1 hour, 55 minutes. Casanova's slam in the seventh inning made it 9-1 and Sexson connected in the eighth.
The Cubs had won the last 16 times Lieber started at Wrigley. Their previous loss at home with Lieber on the mound was last May 18 against Randy Johnson and Arizona.
Glendon Rusch (2-3) won for the first time in seven starts since April 5.
