Graviett decided to move his No. 2 hitter, Erika Reinagel, into the top spot in the Bulldogs' lineup. Reinagel has responded. In five games last week, she batted .642 with 5 stolen bases and 7 runs scored. She helped the Bulldogs win the championship of Notre Dame SoftballFest, recording three hits, two stolen bases and one run scored in the title game against Kelly on Saturday night. Reinagel had been following Burger on top of the lineup the last two seasons, during which time Notre Dame has won two district titles and made one final four appearance.

"There's been a lot pressure on her because really the last two years it's been both and you try to get one of the two on base," Graviett said. "Now, we need her to get on base to get us going offensively. We're going to go where she goes. She started out really well this week, so offensively that's one reason we're clicking."
