Head coach Angela Rodgers said playing in the Black River League tournament was a good experience for the Lady Redbirds as they continue to find their flow on the court.

“Bunker is a young and scrappy team that definitely gave us a run for our money,” Rodgers said. “It was by far not our best game this year, but we managed to hang on for the win. We’ve made some adjustments with players the past couple of games, so we’re still trying to find that flow. We’re sharing the ball well and making strides to be where we want to be when districts start.

The Lady Redbirds improved to 14-2 on the season and will travel to play Twin Rivers (10-5) on Tuesday.
