Kelvin `Earthquake' Anderson, Southeast Missouri State University's all-time rushing leader, is once again having a banner season in the Canadian Football League.

Entering Friday night's game at Edmonton, Anderson -- in his third season with the Calgary Stampeders -- was leading the CFL in touchdowns with nine and he was second in the league in rushing with 671 yards.

Calgary took a 7-3 record into Friday's game.

Last season, Anderson led the CFL's West Division with 1,088 yards rushing, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. He also caught 31 passes and scored 11 touchdowns.

As a rookie in 1996, Anderson rushed for 1,068 yards, caught 45 passes and scored 14 touchdowns as he was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie.

Anderson ranks as Calgary's all-time fifth-leading career rusher with 2,827 yards.

A product of New Madrid County Central High School, Anderson gained 3,392 yards during three seasons at Southeast to shatter the career record. He also holds the school's single-season rushing record, gaining 1,371 yards in 1992.

Anderson gained more than 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons at Southeast, where he completed his eligibility in 1994.
