Scott City football coach Jim May thought Fredericktown's front line looked big while watching film of the Blackcats.

They looked bigger in person.

"From the get-go, they dominated us up front," May said in a phone interview.

Fredericktown handed the host Rams a 36-14 defeat Friday night.

Both teams came into the game without a win, but May said Fredericktown was boosted by the return of starting quarterback A.P. Lewandowski.

"They're always a physical and fundamentally strong team," May said.
