Eagle Ridge girls soccer team notches win at state tournament

Susanna Cohen scored a pair of goals to help lead the Eagle Ridge girls soccer team to victory at the Missouri Christian Schools Athletic Association state tournament Thursday.

The Eagles downed Crosspoint Christian 4-0.

Jennifer Galemmo stopped 10 shots to earn the shutout in goal.

Mary-Kate Galemmo and Abby Cohen each scored a goal in the win.

Chaffee Invitational

Senior Collin Dannenmueller set a school record in the 400, finishing in 50.97 seconds, to help lead the Chaffee boys team to victory.

Trenton Horman won the high jump and 110 hurdles for the Red Devils.

Kelly's Cody Kern was a double-winner, taking first in the 1,600 and 3,200.

Saxony Lutheran took first in the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.

On the girls side, Saxony Lutheran's Cassie Simpher won the 400 and 800 to help the Crusaders finish second.

Oran's Haley Glastetter took second in the 110 hurdles, 100 and 200.
