Stephen Cohen poured in 27 points and Jonathan Rockhill netted 23 to help Eagle Ridge capture the Class 3A MCSAA boys basketball state championship.
The Eagles opened an eight-point lead after the first quarter against Liberty Christian and held on for the 67-50 victory.
It was the first state title for Eagle Ridge (17-10).
The Eagles entered the fourth quarter with an eight-point lead before outscoring Liberty 24-15 in the final period.

The Eagles (21-7) outscored El Dorado 21-13 in the third quarter then held on in the fourth quarter despite being outscored by seven points.

The Eagles held a 21-3 lead at halftime before winning by 26 points.
