Hubler, a 6-foot-3 junior forward, will be a key component for Meadow Heights this winter if the team is to improve on last year's 12-12 season.

Hubler was a starter who averaged in double figures last year for the Panthers, who this year boast size, quickness and depth.

Meadow Heights coach Tom Brown said of his forwards before the season: "We ... have five big men who go from 6-3 1/2 to 6-6. And they are not only big, but they are good athletes. We have never had that before. It makes you smile when you have that combination."
