On the final night of the women's basketball season, the two Atlantic Coast Conference rivals will meet to decide the NCAA championship -- the fourth time they've faced each other in the past three months.

Both reached Tuesday night's title game with decisive semifinal victories on Sunday.

The ACC is guaranteed its first title since North Carolina's win in 1994 and it will come from a first-time champion.

Duke (31-3) lost to Purdue the only other time it played in the title game, in 1999. It's the first appearance in the final for Maryland (33-4).
