The Dexter Bearcats rolled past Bell City on senior night 72-47 at the Bearcat Event Center.

Baylor Eftink then nailed a 3 to put Bell City up 5-2. Tucker Temples then hit a trey of his own to tie the game at 5.

The Bearcats then went on a 8-0 run to take a 13-5 lead before Dawson Loomes broke the run to cut the lead to 13-7 Dexter opened the second quarter on a 9-2 run to take a 27-9 lead. Dexter then stretched the lead to 35-16 at half.

The Bearcats extended their lead to 56-31 at the end of the third and went on to to win 72-47.

“I think we did pretty good tonight on scoring and rebounding but we could have cleaned up a little bit on defense,” said Dexter Senior Ethan Zabelin.

“It's been pretty good,” Zabelin said of his career at Dexter. “It is kind of sad the last home games here, one more left.”

“I can't believe it, it's just a great experience here,” said senioer Nathan Harris. “There is nothing like it..”

Dexter was led by Zebelin with 16 points, Tucker Temples with 13, Gibson Booker 11, John Sepulvado 9, Will Guethle 6, Devin Turnbo 5, Nate Harris and Landon Annesser 4, Hunter Massey and Langston Werneck 2.

Bell City was led by Richardson who had a game high 22 points, Baylor Eftink 12, Loomes 8, Juan Hernandez 4 and Brandon Grimes 1.
