BELL CITY -- Bell City gave Dexter all it wanted before the visiting Bearcats pulled out a 10-point victory Tuesday night.

Dexter, 17-3 overall and a first-place 7-0 in the Stoddard County Conference, got a game-high 30 points from Matt Pruitt. He hit five 3-pointers.

Bell City, 11-9, countered with 29 points from Kevin Henry, who nailed four 3-pointers. Matt Nichols added 12 points.

"It was a good game all the way," said Bell City coach Carl Ritter. "My kids played extremely well. I can't say a bad thing about them."

The Cubs, who led 35-34 at halftime, got a big performance from Henry.

"Kevin played one of his best games of the season," Ritter said.
