Sixth-seeded Central bounced back from a lopsided loss Tuesday night to defeat New Madrid County Central 61-51.

"I was impressed with the way they bounced back from last night," Central coach Drew Church said. "They could have easily folded and not came out ready to play, but a lot of guys contributed, even with the little stuff, the stuff that doesn't show up in papers.

"Our guards played well and the main thing is we have to get better and better every game."
