DELTA -- The one-two scoring punch of Josh Altenthal and Allen Rhodes was enough to secure Delta a 78-63 win over Marquand Tuesday night.
Altenthal poured in a game-high 24 points, followed by Rhodes, who added 21. Robbie Lemonds helped out as well, netting 10 points.
The Bobcats jumped out to an early 21-10 first-quarter lead, but the Tigers rallied and outscored Delta 20-10 to trim the lead to one point going into halftime.
A 19-6 scoring advantage for Delta (6-9) in the third quarter may have secured their win.
Doug Rehkop led Marquand with 28 points. Scott Emmit added 10.
Delta travels to Woodland on Tuesday for its next contest.
