Fifth-seeded Scott County Central handled No. 4 Oran 64-49 on Monday in the first round of the 30th annual Lady Devils Invitational girls basketball tournament at Chaffee.

The Bravettes were led in scoring by Brittney Peet with 20 points and Samantha Jones added 12.

Oran was led by Erica Michelson with 18 points. Also scoring in double figures for Oran were Tiffany Glastetter with 11 and Callie Kielhofner with 10.

Top-seed Delta crushed East Praire 54-18. The Bobcats were led in scoring by Tiffany Amelunke with 15 points. Also, Ashley Dewprow added 10 points and Jodi Menz chipped in six points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, playing in her first game this season since a shoulder injury.

Delta will play Scott County on Wednesday in the semifinals.

Kelly, the second seed, routed No. 7 Scott City 56-22 in other first-round action. Debra Hall led the Hawks with 17 points, Katee Moore had 15 and Kayla Cissell added 13.

Whitney Tapley and Nora Glasser led the Rams with six points apiece.

The Hawks will play the winner of Wednesday's final first-round game between No. 3 Sikeston and No. 6 Chaffee in the semifinals on Thursday.
