Delta, Kelly advance to final of Scott-Mississippi tourney

Taylor Smith and Alison Burger both scored 12 points to lead top-seeded Delta to a 57-30 victory against No. 4 Scott City in the semifinals of the Scott-Mississippi girls basketball tournament Thursday at Scott County Central High School.

Brittni Deprow added nine points in the win.

Becky Holder and Donielle Howell scored nine points apiece to lead the Rams.

Delta will face No. 2 Kelly in Saturday's final at 4:30 p.m. Kelly defeated No. 3 Oran 55-46 in Thursday's other semifinal.
