Delta senior Greg Brawley took matters into his own hands Tuesday.
The guard scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Bobcats past Kelly 62-47 in their Southeast Missourian Christmas tournament consolation-bracket quarterfinal.
Brawley helped Delta pull away the Hawks in the third quarter after the teams entered halftime tied 27-27.
Brawley scored 10 points, including hitting a pair of 3-pointers, in the decisive third quarter.
Delta started the third quarter on a 9-0 run that started with a pair of baskets by senior Dallas Naramore.
Austin Lashley, who scored two points during the run, added 17 points in the contest for Delta.
Josh Roberts led the Hawks with 10 points.
Kelly only hit 55 percent of its free throws (12 of 22).
Delta advanced to play Oak Ridge in Thursday's 1:30 p.m. consolation semifinal.
