EAST PRAIRIE -- Ryan Burnett turned in a big performance to lead Delta past host East Prairie Friday night.
Burnett, who has seen limited action this season, scored 17 points, 12 coming in the fourth quarter, as the Bobcats pulled away down the stretch.
"He did a real good job," said Delta coach Scott Sikes. "He's a big kid who helped us beat Meadow Heights in the (University High) Christmas tournament."
Delta, which climbed to 6-7, led 31-16 at halftime but East Prairie pulled into a 45-45 tie in the final period.
"Then Burnett really took over for us," Sikes said.
Neil Hester added 15 points, Tony Martin 14 and Chandler Blackstone 13 for Delta.
East Prairie fell to 1-9.
