Southeast Missourian
Evan Deere, Brett Slaten and Trent Hillis posted their second tournament victories of the week Wednesday in the Gateway PGA/Southeast Missouri Junior Series stop at Kennett Country Club.
All three had won their divisions Monday at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Deere shot a 44 on Wednesday to win by two strokes in the 12- and 13-year-old boys 9-hole division.
Slaten won the 14- to 19-year-old boys 9-hole division. No scores were available.
Hillis shot an 87 to win by two strokes in the 12- and 13-year-old boys 18-hole division.
The tournament drew 39 players.
Other winners were Mathew Crews in 10-11 boys 9-hole division; Jonathan Rogers in 14-15 boys 18-hole regular division; Tyson Privett in the 16-19 boys 18-hole regular division; Dakota Trevino in the 14-15 boys Tour division, and Chris Collins in the 16-19 boys Tour division.
The series next plays Thursday at Dalhousie Golf Club.
