Molly Davis is starting to make the Ohio Valley Conference defensive player of the week award her personal domain.

Southeast Missouri State's senior libero earned her third straight honor Monday after averaging 6.23 digs per set and recording just one receiving error during three matches last week.

Davis had 23 digs in Tuesday's win at Tennessee-Martin Tuesday, 22 digs in Friday's loss to Austin Peay and 29 digs in Saturday's victory over Tennessee State.

Davis, who holds Southeast records for career digs and single-match digs, leads the OVC in digs with 316 for an average of 6.08 per set.

The Redhawks are 6-8 overall and 3-2 in the OVC, which has them fourth in the 10-team league.

Southeast returns to action Friday at last-place Eastern Kentucky, followed by a Saturday match at second-place Morehead State.
