Linda Horrell of Gordonville recently sank her first hole-in-one at Kimbeland Country Club.
Horrell used a 7-wood to ace No. 6, a par 3 playing 134 yards. Witnesses were Jim Horrell, Ed Arnzen and JoAnn Arnzen.
Terry Bozzay won the Match Play vs. Par at Dalhousie Golf Club (18-hole net) with a 4-up score.
Ken Swinford placed second at 2-up, while Charlie Puls was third at all-square.
The team of Danny Dohogne, Brian Brown, Jeff Unterreiner and Keith Brugger won A flight at the recent Community Counseling Center Foundation Golf Tournament at Cape Girardeau County Club.
Finishing second in the scramble event was John Harding, Chris Edmonds and Tim Westover.
Nick Burger, Dominique Harter, Ryan Valencia and Neil Glass won B flight.
Closest-to-the-hole winners were Brugger (No. 6) and Nelson Ringer (No. 11). Sherre Simmons and Scott Hubbard won the longest drives.
Bent Creek will host its annual two-man Fall Classic on Oct. 2. It is a flighted 27-hole tournament that will feature three formats. The event is limited to 50 teams. Entry is $120 a team, which includes lunch. Info: 243-6060, bentcreekgc.com.
