Karen Heisel recorded her third career hole-in-one Sunday at Kimbeland Country Club.
Heisel used a pitching wedge to ace No. 12, a par 3 playing 72 yards. Witnesses were Nancy Kohl and Harriet Drusch.
Chuck Wilson of Cape Girardeau carded his second career hole-in-one last week at Kimbeland Country Club.
Wilson used a 9-iron to ace No. 4, a par 3 playing 142 yards. Witnesses were Clint Ruppel, Mike Cotner and Jim McElreath.
Mary Ellen Bean was the medalist at the Women's Golf Association's event last week at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Judy Brey won the play of the day, while Sheryl Bollinger and Irene Thomas tied for second.
Jake Richardson shot a 78 to win the boys ages 16 to 19 tour division at the Gateway PGA Junior Series event Monday at Bent Creek Golf Course.
Brian Whitson took second with an 87,
Jonathan Bell won the boys 14-15 tour division with a 79. Carson Miles placed second with an 82.
In the 18-hole regular competition, Spencer Warren won the boys 12-13 division with an 81; Dalton Winger won boys 14-15 with an 88; and Colton Faulkner claimed the title in boys 16-19 with an 86; McKenzie Parr won the girls 14-15 division; and Sarah Bell won the girls 16-19 division with a 77.
In nine-hole competition, Alex Wiseman won the boys 10-11 division with a 39; Grace Hightower finished first in the girls 10-11 division with a 56; Brant Hobbs shot 52 to win the boys 12-13 division; and J. Michael Greenwall shot a 62 to claim first in the boys 14-19 division.
Lachelle Cook was on the winning teams at the two SEMO Horseshoe Association competitions held over the weekend.
Cook teamed with Danny Williams to with the 14-team event Saturday in Oran, Missouri. Randy Grady and Mike Kluesner placed second.
Cook and Virgil Schreckenberg paired up to win the six-team event Sunday in Grassy, Missouri. Randy Senciboy and Carolyn Schreckenberg took second.
Winners from the previous week were Cook and Keller in Grassy, and Brent Prindle and Amy Pobst in Oran.
The next tournaments will be Saturday at the Knights of Columbus in Scott City and Sunday at the Knights of Columbus in Jackson.
