Vicki Long takes top honors at Handicap Tournament

Vicki Long took top honors at the Handicap Tournament, which was held recently by the Women's Golf Association of the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Long finished ahead of a second-place tie between Judi Brey and Luanne Kiefner.

Marta Hamilton and Marlena Jones finished deadlocked in fourth, Sheryl Bollinger landed in sixth and Irene Thomas was seventh.

Point Series event at Dalhousie ends in three-way tie

Jim Riley, Darius Seabaugh and Jeff Spray finished in a three-way tie at even par during a Point Series event Saturday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Bruce Watson placed fourth at 1-over, while Terry Bozzay shot a 2-over to take fifth.
