Jeremy Enderle, a 1997 graduate of Scott City High School has signed to play baseball for Harris-Stowe State College, an NAIA school in St. Louis.
Enderle, a third baseman/first baseman, played baseball his freshman year of college at Dyersburg Community College. He hit .361 during his freshman campaign, then sat out a year before signing at Harris-Stowe.
"He's the hardest worker I've ever coached," said Scott City coach Mike Umfleet. "He was always out hitting balls off the tee and begging people to throw him batting practice."
Harris-Stowe also recently signed two Perryville High players, Ryan Tweedy and Shawn Duvall.
Robert White, a Jackson High graduate, is a Harris-Stowe assistant coach who has been recruiting the Southeast Missouri area.
