CHARLESTON -- Charleston's Blue Jays got back on the winning track Tuesday night with an easy 27-point win over visiting Poplar Bluff in SEMO Conference play.

Charleston, now 15-5 overall and 2-2 in conference, broke open a close game with a 16-7 second quarter to go up by 14 at the half. The Jays really opened thing up in the fourth period by outscoring the Mules 21-8.

Marcus Williams led the Jays with 17 points while Fernando Rowe and Iric Farmer each had 10.

Kevin McCain had 18 for Bluff, which fell to 6-13 and 1-4.
