Fourth-seeded Chaffee routed fifth-seeded Kelly 74-41 and second-seeded, host Scott County Central crushed seventh-seeded Delta 96-48 in the final two opening-round games Wednesday at the Scott-Mississippi County Conference boys basketball tournament in Morley, Mo..

Peyton Montgomeyer led Chaffee (10-6) with 25 points as the Red Devils beat Kelly for the third time this season.

Charlie Montgomery scored 13 points for the Red Devils and Layton Tenkhoff added 12.

Josh Roberts paced Kelly (3-10) with 19 points.

Larandis Banks led SCC (8-8) with 19 points. Jalen Porter and Tyler Masters scored 18 each. Cameron Blissett added 12 and Kendall Blissett contributed 11.

Dillon Lincoln of Delta (2-12) led all scorers with 24 points.
