PERRYVILLE -- Chaffee Legion opened its season Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader split with Perryville.

After Perryville claimed the opener 3-1, Chaffee bounced back with a 12-9 victory.

Jason Glastetter suffered the loss in the opener, allowing six hits in six innings. He struck out four and walked one.

Josh Eftink had two of Chaffee's five hits.

Chaffee took a 1-0 lead into the sixth inning but saw Perryville score three times.

Perryville led 6-2 entering the fifth inning of the nightcap, but Chaffee scored 10 runs over the final three frames.

Lance Amick notched the victory in relief of Brandon Amick. Lance pitched 1 1-3 innings and gave up one hit while striking out two. Brandon allowed seven hits in 4 2-3 innings. Only three of the nine runs he allowed were earned. Brian Obermann pocketed a save with a scoreless seventh.

Jason Bickings and Jacob Ressel each had two of Chaffee's six hits.
