SIKESTON, Mo. -- With the help of a 1-over-par 73 from senior Todd Obegoenner, Central topped a field of 13 teams with a 305 at the Sikeston Invitational on Monday.
Matt Bain of Sikeston tied Obergoenner through 18 holes. Obergoenner won the tournament on the second playoff hole.
Blake Driskell finished right behind for the Tigers with a 74. Central's other top scorers were Tyson Seabaugh and Kirk Lohmann, each with a 79.
Jackson finished second with a 321. Jackson's top four scorers were Gabe Sauer (78), Chase Walker (79), Josh Wheeler (80) and Blake McDowell (84).
Notre Dame finished eighth with a 359. Jon Obermark and Will Lindman led the Bulldogs with 87s. Tyler Menz shot a 92, and Clayton Eftink shot a 93.BASEBALL

Notre Dame scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to invoke the mercy rule in a win against New Madrid County Central.
Jeremy Brinkmeyer (2-3) was the winning pitcher for Notre Dame, which improved to 6-2 in the SEMO Conference.
Blake Urhahn had three hits for the Bulldogs (10-4), while Dane Balsmann hit a home run and Derek Ressel had a triple.
