Jordan Gramling collected two state qualifying times and broke pool records in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle.

That performance helped host Central ease past rival Jackson 97-69 in Tuesday's dual swimming meet.

Central's Caleb Coots and Jackson's Kristian Troxell both collected state qualifying times in the 100 butterfly, while Jackson's Ryan Gibson earned a state qualifying mark in the 200 freestyle.

Central walked away with eight first-place finishes and six second-place finishes.

Alexis Spriggs pitched a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 10 as the Rams routed the Crusaders.

Lindsay Kern, Julie Holder. Melanie Lacey and Jenna Cummins all had two hits as the Rams improved to 12-9.

The Rams broke the game open with a 12-run fifth inning.

Megan Myers had 13 assists and two aces to help lead the Tigers to a home victory during their annual "Pink Out" match for breast cancer awareness.

Chelsey Brown and Chelsea Pannier contributed seven kills as Central improved to 14-10-2.

Sam Babcock had nine digs for the Crusaders.

JV -- Central won 25-9, 25-22.

Notre Dame 25 25 Advance 16 18

Shannon Brennan led the Bulldogs with 11 assists as they improved to 16-2.

Kate Edwards added six kills followed by Allyson Bradshaw, May Wibbenmeyer and Bailey Martin with three kills each.

JV -- Notre Dame won 25-17, 25-13.

St. Vincent 25 25 Hillsboro 11 12

St. Vincent swept visiting Hillsboro to improve to 12-9-4.

Valerie Smith had five kills and nine digs for St. Vincent, while Monika Smith had three kills. Miranda Unterreiner led the defensive effort with 11 digs and Chelsie Boxdorfer had nine.

Amanda Steinbecker collected 12 service points and 13 assists, while Alanna Steinbecker had 11 service points.

JV -- St. Vincent won 25-17, 25-14.

Abby Landewee led with 18 kills, eight digs and two blocks as the Wildcats won in three games.

Mallory James added 13 digs, six kills and three blocks while Sydney Eeftink recorded 29 assists as Leopold improved to 14-3.

Zalma rolled past Puxico to improve to 15-2.

Torie VanGennip recorded 15 assists while Lorie VanGennip collected five kills.
