ST. LOUIS, Mo -- Ursuline Adademy, an all-girls private school in St. Louis, handed Cape Central a 4-0 loss in girls soccer action on Saturday.

Ursuline, one of the better teams in St. Louis, scored in the first minute of the game for the only goal it would need.

"It wasn't as bad as it sounded," Cape Central coach Tom Doyle said. "It was 1-0 at halftime and we had our chances."

Among Ursuline's goals was one accidently kicked in by a Central player.

The Lady Tigers dropped to 11-5-6.

Woodland Tournament

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Bell City claimed first place in the five-team, third annual Woodland Tournament, knocking off Oak Ridge 15-7 in the championship game.

Woodland took third place with a 16-4 win over Delta.

Earlier Saturday, Bell City knocked off Delta 16-0, while Woodland (13-6) beat Meadow Heights 17-0 before losing to Oak Ridge in a wild 17-15 affair. Delta defeated Meadow Heights 5-4 in the play-in game.

In the 17-15 game, Woodland's Kyle Long hit for the cycle.

Woodland's Chad Hulvey was the winning pitcher in the third-place game. He also had four hits.
